We want everyone to feel welcome at NLCG, CTP, and PSCO. Diversity, equity and inclusion are key focuses of our organization and programs. Read below to learn about our affinity groups, resources, and DEI Board.
NLCG supports and accepts students from all backgrounds. To ensure everyone feels this sense of belonging, affinity groups were created. These groups provide resources and host events throughout the year for students who identify with a minority group, or are allies of these groups.
Founded in 2021, the Black and LatinX Network aims to provide students a community for professional development and social expansion.
Throughout the year the group hosts roundtable discussions, attends dinners, provides recruiting resources, and more. The Black and Latinx Affinity Group serves as an internal resource for members to share concerns and garner career advice from their peers.
In addition, this group connects students to members of other diversity and inclusion organizations within Penn State.
